Finding Have-to vs. Want-to Clients

This current market has two types of buyers and sellers, the have-tos and the want-tos. The biggest opportunity lies with the have-tos, whether it’s relocators, a homeowner who really wants to get out and even the iBuyers desperate to offload listings they’ve had for too long. For agents who want to find clients, it’s really possible to “steal” a great home under these conditions.

Is social media making the market seem worse than it is?

Social media is heavily influencing how people feel about this market and how they are making decisions. It feels like until social media says it’s okay to buy again, the floodgates aren’t going to open, but the truth is, there’s still a lot of opportunity right now among people who really really want to sell. An experienced relational agent can ask the right questions to identify those opportunities and will need no help finding clients.
